How much is a visa for Vietnam taken at embassies in foreign countries?

On January 1st, 2017, the new circular No. 264/2016 / TT-BTC entered into force. Accordingly, a series of new fees related to passports were applied.

If the fee is paid in the currency of the host country, the conversion from the US dollar to the local currency will be charged at the selling rate of the US dollar issued by the bank where the overseas Vietnamese representative office opens its accounts. How much is an electronic visa for Vietnam?

According to the Government’s Decree No. 07/2017 / ND-CP dated January 25, 2007 stipulating the order and procedures for pilot issuance of e-visas for foreigners entering Vietnam, on February 1st, 2017,

Vietnam officially tested the issuance of visa for foreigners to Vietnam with a period of 1 month for the purpose of tourism only.

The fee for issuing the e-visa is $25/guest and will not be refunded if the visa is not approved. Accordingly, the foreigner only needs to fill out the information required by the Vietnam Immigration Department on the online form and then pay the visa fee according to regulations.
