Visa for Phu Quoc in Vietnam

What is situation regarding Vietnam visa for Phu Quoc Island.

I’ve got my single entry visa for Vietnam for 30 days. I am visiting Hanoi, then Da Nang, Nha Trang, Saigon and finally Phu Quoc island before leaving for Cambodia.

I found a lot of conflicting information about Vietnam visa for this island on forums and internet. Do I need to have my visit to Phu Quoc fall on these 30 days.

Please be informed that in this case you still need to have your visit to Phu Quoc Island fall on this period as you are exempted from visa to visit the island only when it is your first destination in Vietnam. If you are planning to visit Vietnam after these 30 days, you should apply for 3-month visa to Vietnam.
