Official lower stamping fee for Vietnam visa on arrival from November 23
Great news have reached foreign tourists who use visa on arrival to visit Vietnam on November 23, 2015 and afterwards as they are entitled to lower stamping fee compared to fee which others had to pay before November 23, 2015. This deduction was announced by the Vietnam Ministry of Finance under its Circular No. 157/2015/TT-BTC.
According to the circular, the current stamping fee is US $25 for a single entry visa and US $95 for a multiple entry visa instead of its previous US $45 and US $95 respectively. So, we can see that the stamping fee has been cut down by almost half, making applying for Vietnam visa on arrival economic.
How to get a Vietnam visa on arrival?
Application for visa to Vietnam is never easier than today thanks to introduction of Vietnam visa on arrival. With this way of application, travelers don’t need to leave home to submit their documents. The whole application process is completed online and they only need to leave home when departing for Vietnam and then get visa stamped onto passport upon arrival at the airport.
Following are steps to get full visa on arrival:
- Step 1: Submit online application form via
- Step 2: Check information and make payment of service fee online;
- Step 3: Check email within 1 or 2 working days and receive visa approval letter as an official permission to board flight, get visa stamped and stay in Vietnam for a certain period of time.
- Step 4: Pack luggage, go to Vietnam and get visa stamped at Vietnam airport.
