Sharp decrease of Vietnam visa stamping fee from November 23, 2015
It is pleasure for Vietnamvisa.org.in to officially announce that the Ministry of Finance announced its Circular No. 157/2015/TT-BTC which contain a major change in which the visa stamping fee (fee to pick up visa on arrival) will be cut down from November 23, 2015.
According to the Circular, the stamping fee for a single entry visa will be US$25 instead of the current US$45, and it will be US$50 for a multiple entry visa valid for up to 3 months instead of the current US$95. This is a move to attract more and more tourists to Vietnam.
So, when the new stamping fees are applied, application for a visa on arrival (VOA) is not only simple but also cost-saving.
How simply VOA works?
No need to contact the embassy or send original passport away via post, the VOA applicants only need to stay at home to complete the visa application and get visa stamped upon arrival. Following are four simple steps to obtain a visa on arrival to Vietnam:
- Step 1: Submit online visa application form at https://booking.vietnam-visa.com/step1.html.
- Step 2: Pay service fee online.
- Step 3: Receive visa approval letter.
- Step 4: Get visa stamped at arrival airport in Vietnam.
