Vietnam Visa Question

Hello,

I am French and I am travelling to Laos and then visiting Vietnam on the 18th August. Actually I will cross the border by bus from Vientiane to Hanoi.

At first, I wanted to apply for the Vietnam visa online but it seems that I can only get the visa stamp upon arrival at one of the Vietnam’s airports.

So that will not work for me. Could you please indicate me the best way to get my Visa for Vietnam? Much appreciated.

Actually, Visa on arrival is just available for Air so if you want to come to Vietnam by border, the visa at Vietnam Embassy is the best option for you.

Could I know how many days you will stay in Vietnam? If you will stay in Vietnam less than 15 days, you do not need Vietnam visa and at the border, you just need to fill in a form and get visa stamped for 15 days on passport, But if you will stay in Vietnam longer than 15 days, you will apply for visa at Vietnam Embassy in Cambodia.
